The Halloween writer/director Rob Zombie announced yesterday on his Official Myspace blog that he has casted Malcolm McDowell to play the role of Dr. Loomis in his take of the classic horror movie.
The part was originally played by Donald Pleasence in the 1978 original and sequels.
McDowell will join the previously-cast Daeg Faerch, who plays a young Michael Myers, Sheri Moon and Heather Bowen.
Its slated for a August 31 release.
