The Dark Knight Trailer!

What we all have been waiting for (or at least I have) has arrived in all of its HD glory. Yesterday the website A Taste for the Theatrical posted the trailer that has been in front of I Am Legend and boy is it great! I am now 100% sold on Heath Ledger as The Joker and he has nailed it perfectively and can't wait to see more of him in it. Here is a link so you can see it streming or in High-Def which you should do if you can.

Let's start the hype on Cloverfield!

OK I'm sure we will be hearing alot about this movie over the next several months leading to next January. No one had heard of this movie until the trailer appeared in front of Transformers (great by the way, will review after seeing another time), when I saw Transformers the trailer was there and let me say it looks like it is going to be something special. If what they say is true and the movie is filmed with camcorders I think that it will be really interesting to see it play out. Now I have some viral websites for the movie for you to check out...

Smokin' Aces!

The movie I'm look forward to the most this month is no doubt Smokin' Aces! It has a really good cast, not to mention the movie debuts of Alica Keys and Common. Heres a quick synopsis of the movie:

In these interlocking tales of high stakes and low lifes, Mob boss Primo Sparazza has taken out a hefty contract on Buddy "Aces" Israel (Piven)--a sleazy magician who has agreed to turn state's evidence against the Vegas mob. The FBI, sensing a chance to use this small-time con to bring down big-target Sparazza, places Aces into protective custody-under the supervision of two agents (Reynolds and Liotta) dispatched to Aces' Lake Tahoe hideout. When word of the price on Aces' head spreads into the community of ex-cons and cons-to-be, it entices bounty hunters, thugs-for-hire, smokin' hot vixens and double-crossing mobsters to join in the hunt. With all eyes on Tahoe, this rogues' gallery collides in a comic race to hit the jackpot and rub out Aces.

Yesterday they released 6 comics with each one giving background on a different character. You can find the links to the comics here. You can also check out the trailer there too.

I wanna know what you think about it and if your gonna go see it. The movie comes out January 26.

Jones Dishes on Hellboy 2 & FF2

That Doug Jones is poppin' up everywhere these days! This time, iFMagazine caught up with the man behind the movements of Abe Sapien and The Silver Surfer and he revealed a bit more about both sequels. Here's a clip:

According to Jones there will be some new things to look for in the second Hellboy movie, "You can expect more from Abe Sapien, you can expect a larger role from the first one, you can expect him to maybe wield a weapon, you can expect him to show you a style of fighting in hands on with bad guys that you’ve never seen or heard of before."

You can check out more of the interview at the link above.
